DEFENSE FINANCING & ACCOUNTING SERVICE CENTER

Through state-of-the-art technology and highly trained and motivated employees, DFAS provides premier base-level finance and accounting services to its customers.

These services include: appropriated funds accounting and reporting; vendor pay; working capital funds accounting and reporting; travel accounting; accounts receivable; and disbursing. The Limestone office serves all 18 Air Force bases and 20 associated Air National Guard units of the Air Force's Air Combat Command. The center occupies 145,000 sq ft of office space and

recently increased employment from 250 to 330 people in accounting and related positions.
